TAKIGAHARA CRAFT&STAY

Stay in a beautiful old farmhouse, converted to a temple of modern design. Japan and Scandinavia meet in furniture, artwork, and architecture. Local artisans create heritage crafts at our on-site studio. Eat delicious, fresh, organic food from our farm, or raise a glass at our natural wine bar. Come just to relax, or work remotely in a home away from home. Hike the mountain on our doorstep, try a hand at farming, go swim in the river. Meet a community of young people building a new village, a life closer to nature. Takigahara is a place we call home. We would love to welcome you.

We are now accepting reservations for dinner at Craft&Stay, a fine dining experience presented by resident chef Timothy Mawn.
Please make a reservation at least two days before your visit. Reservations can be made by email (info@craftandstay.com) or phone (0761 46 5621).TAKIGAHARA Cafe is also open in the evening, serving an a la carte menu. Reservations not required.
